HAPPY TRAVELS LETTER

You haven´t seen your classmates for approximately a month because you have been traveling. Write a letter to your classmates telling them what you have done in your travels. Make sure you include 5 things you have done since they've seen you. Afterwards, write a response paragraph on another student's letter. Happy TRAVEPublish PostLS!

LITERATURE AMIGO BROTHERS

By this time you have already finished reading Amigo Brothers. Review the boys'friendship at the beginning and the ending of the story. Write a short paragraph in which you compare and contrast their friendship before and after their bout. Comparisons deal with simlirities and contrasts deal with differences. Make sure you include at least three new words from the literature vocabulary. Remember a paragraph is 4 to 5 sentences. After you are finish posting, comment on one of your classmates posting. Tell me if you agree or disagree and why.

Welcome to the 6th GRADE BLOG!

Why a 6th grade BLOG?
The purpose of this blog is for all us to communicate via this form of media. To check what your classmates are commenting on and so you can give feedback to your classmates. Jessica Dorrell and Jo Ann Munoz will also be commenting on your feedback and tasks.

What should 6th grader students expect from this blog?
In this blog you will find different entries or videos that both your English teachers will enter for you to comment on. The blog will have both English and Literature entriess. In addition to videos and entries it will also have links for you to practice grammar, listening and reading. Sixth grade will have the opportunity to work on this blog outside or during class. Your teacher will inform you as to when you should check the blog.

Please feel free to participate. If you have an interesting topic you'd like to share and would like your classmates or your teachers to comment on it, GO FOR IT and post it!!! Remember it must be appropriate to the topic. Furthermore this blog will not be used to critizice or bring down others. If you violate such terms you will not be allowed to use the blog.

Most importantly you need to follow directions carefuly. Everyone is obligated to participate in this blog.
